(Rebholz Siebeldingen Im Sonnenschein Grosses Gewachs) Im Sonnenschein and Kastanienbusch Hanjsorg considers his best vineyards with Im Sonnenschein being the more forwrad while Kastanienbusch always needs time to show well. This had a profound nose that jumped out of the glass. Floral notes mixed with vibrant lime zest on a bed of minerals. Almost frolicking. Already showing wonderful fruit complexity on the palate. Really stops you in your tracks. Incredibly deep yet light as a feather on the palate. Truly power without weight. Filigreed comes to mind. But let us not forget this has fruit and is incredibly juicy. An engrossing wine.
