(Jean Milan "Symphorine" Brut) ($73.00) This blew me away. With all the issue around ’05, I didn’t expect such fetching aromas, and the palate is elegant and fruity in the rather strong ’05 way. Neither vintage taint nor reduction here. A rich, swollen finish, with lots of chalk and salt. Appears to have been disgorged late 2010.
