Medium body, Light mouth feel. Blueberries with mild spice. Good acidity. Tannins are smooth. The finish is the best part of the wine. Had with sausage/vegetable soup and was a good pairing. Deep burgundy colour with a violet rim. Fresh nose of chocolate, sliced plums, kirsch, currant, and vanillan. On the medium-full bodied palate, the tannins are present but not overly intrusive. Replays from nose and some minerals as well. Some alcoholic warmth shows on the moderate-length, ~30-35s, finish with more sliced plums kirsch, and chocolate. Very nice. I think this is approachable but there is no rush to rink. Extremely smooth, balance and full bodied with a long wonderful finish. I pulled from the cellar, popped and poured.
