From JJ Buckley:
"...Silky textured finish. Hazelnut and fruit on the finish. Harmonious wine."
Made from 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and a touch of Petit Verdot, Isosceles is one of the California Central Coast's most iconic reds. It has a long track record of high scores - the 1997 release was ranked number #6 in the Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines. And this ’08 just hit 94 Points with James Suckling, the longtime Bordeaux critic for the Wine Spectator who now directs his own, highly-acclaimed website.
Justin is one of the most established wineries south of Napa, and 20+ years of experience has guided the Justin team to the top vineyard sites, and super low yields. They've spared no expense on production equipment and new French oak barrels. By design, Isosceles can be enjoyed now or cellared for 10-15 years for future enjoyment.
Paso Robles is one of the fastest growing wine regions in the U.S., especially in terms of quality. Wineries like Saxum, Tablas Creek, and Justin have propelled the area to international recognition. It’s all about the terroir - the limestone soils on the famous West Side of Paso Robles, where the region's highest rated wines come from. And Justin's Isosceles is one of the best.
