Production notes
The wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. Grenache brings lushness and fruit to the blend. Syrah brings minerality, aromatics, and back-palate tannins. Mourvedre brings dark red fruit, earth, spice and mid-palate richness to the blend. The grapes were handpicked and co -fermented. The wine continued its alcoholic fermentation in French oak until it was dry and then proceeded through Malolactic conversion prior to being racked and returned to barrel where it was aged for 30 months in neutral oak.
