From the winery:
“The Hoodoo Man” is a white cuvée of 39% Roussanne, 31% Viognier and 30% Chardonnay. Three quarters of the fruit was grown at Alban Vineyard and the rest at our own Eleven Confessions vineyard. All were barrel fermented and stayed on their original lees until bottling some 15 months after harvest. If you liked last years “The Petition”, you should like this one. They are much in a similar style, although this wine may be slightly more overtly expressive in the nose, with tones of honeysuckle and tangerine rind as well as some lemon-lime and crème brûlée. It sure is a powerhouse and very rich, but it remains lively on the palate, with a multi-faceted flavor profile, crisp acidity and a long, nerve tingling finish.
