Winemaker Tasting Notes
This wine had great aromatics of crushed stone, kirsch and creosote that gives way to blue floral notes as the wine opens up. Dark briery black fruits fill the palate and lead to a finish of dark chocolate and framboise all balanced with chalky fine grained tannins and good acidity. Decanting is suggested for early consumption. Another two years in the cellar, this wine should start to drink well and continue for the next 10-12 years.
