This selection of grapes made mid-october 2001 is from our vineyard called Grand Cru Osterberg, bordering the Grand Cru Geisberg.
The south exposed grapes enjoyed a superb indian summer in 2001 and it did not rain at all during the whole October month.
It was vinified separately and bottled in April 2002.
This harmonious wine is very rich and fat, but has no residual sugar and has a wonderful mineral structure.
