Serious oak - lacking the ripeness. Nice woody fruity nose - acid at first on the palette - standard black currant but not much finish and a lot of tannin. Can't replace the lack of ripeness. Riding laurel's if you ask me. Decanted 2 hours. The nose was the best part.

Dinner out - steak and lobster - nice fruit, nice tannin, good balAnce but a little too sharp acidic finish for my liking. A nice choice still for 49 in restaurant - not going to get much better in my book
