Pop and pour and served without food. The wine was initially chilled down from room temperature of about 72 downt to about 60. Then opened and allowed to warm up a bit in the glass. Funky nose at first, with some sulphur and wet wool. Put the cork back in and shook the wine. Poured some and there was an improvement. Good spice and red fruits. A bit light. Nice acidity. Some spice and herbal elements on the finish.
Pop and pour and served with food (pierogis with onions and sauerkrauts, in case you were wondering). Light in color. Nose of pomegranate and cherries. Bright acidity on the intro, with some cherry notes and citrus. Touch of leather on the finish. This is a bright wine with good acidity and light red fruits.
Pop and pour and followed over two hours. This is my second bottle of the cuvee. This is a nice bottle of wine. There is good Pinot flavors of fresh crushed berries, some good acidity for lift, and a touch of earth/mushroom/forest floor that help add a little bit of depth. While a fairly straight-forward wine, and not particualrly complex, it is enjoyable and inviting.
