Natural cork, decanted for 2 hours. Great nose, subtle and inviting with mineralaity and soft spice. Palate is reserved, this is not a big jammy Zin. I get both dark and red fruits, more acidic than tannic mainly on the finish. If tasting blind I could mistake this for a bold Pinot. It is a very different and nice expression of the Mazzoni clone of Zinfabdel which I must admit I have never experienced before.

Decanted for 90 minutes. This wine is dark and dense with a deep purple color. Nose of predominantly dark fruits, blackberry, blueberry. The palate came across as hot in alcohol and it was hard and slow to drink by itself. It is full-bodied and gritty on the finish, not smooth at all. Second day. There was about 1/2 glass left in the decanter. It tasted much better after sitting over night. Smooth and inviting. Firm lasting finish with the nose matching texture. I think it needs more time in the bottle or a very long decant to be enjoyed now. Day 1 = 90, Day 2 = 91. I am going to purchase another bottle to revisit earlier next year.

Decanted for an hour. Color is deep translucent purple. Nose is soft with dark fruit characteristics, blue/black berries. Palate is smooth and easy drinking with a lingering finish leaning more tannic than acidic. Very enjoyable by itself with no food. Solid QPR at $16. A repeat purchase for me.
