Popped, poured, consumed over next 30 minutes. Just a lovely Chardonnay with a nose and intense but ethereal palate that recalls a fine Puligny Montrachet without losing its connection to the Santa Cruz mountains.
Popped, breathed in bottle 60 minutes, consumed over next sixty. Surprisingly enjoyable already. Fascinating, complex, lovely balance, with unique savory notes that make his wine very distinct and pleasurable and contribute to the tantalizing, expanding, firm but refined and friendly tannic finish.
Pop and pour, this is a very satisfying $12 casual party wine that I get from Whole Foods every year, hits all the expected California Chardonnay notes yet manages to achieve good balance and refreshing restraint.
