Score is hypothetical - I won't be buying this again. Pleasant nose but an unbalanced wine with too much tannin and a sore lack of fruit. Joyless, I didn't finish it.

None of the reticence for which so many 2005s are currently known, this one was open for business. Great expressive and fragrant nose - very seductive floral and touch of Graves moss. The palate was a disappointment - initial impressions were it lacked fruit and was a bit thin. Surprisingly though, it didn't fall apart on the second night (overnight was in the fridge) and is drinking nicely. Perhaps a disappointment overall given the vintage, but attractive and expressive Bdx at this price point.

Great quality for 11 euros at the supermarket. The five arrows know how to deliver value at this price point and this is no exception. A firm, fruity, nicely handled toasty oak classic Bordeaux. I'm not saying this is Figeac or Lafite, but at this price point, I've had some awful wines. This was solid. Recommended for a reliable table wine.
