Really developing nicely into a very impressive Bordeaux for this price range. Becoming quite approachable but still with enough complexity to retain interest throughout. Nice balance of fruit (plum, blueberry) with more traditional hints of pencil and iron.

Initially a little unbalanced with the stone fruits struggling to emerge over a very bright almost overpowering seam of acidity. Not astringent though - just sharp. Mellowed by day 2 to a much more harmonious and impressive wine with medium weight and finish.

Aged appearance. Acidity quite noticeable but lovely undercurrent of fruit and tannin.
