I was pleasantly surprised by this wine. The nose had distinct cherry cola notes. I agree with others that the nose reflected a heavy oak component. I also found this wine to be fairly austere. On the palate I tasted bright cherries. I did not find the wine to be out of balance, but was also not spectactular.

Rich, full bodied Pinot. The palate had rich strawberries and cherries with some spice. The finish lingered for a long time. Nose actually had hints of butterscotch, with berries and some smokiness. All in all this was a highly extracted rich wine. I don't think that the wine was out of balance, but I prefer a little more acidity and austerity. Popped, poured, and consumed over a few hours. Would have been interested to see what this was like over a longer period of time. Will definitely wait on my last bottle for a few years.

Beautifully expressive nose of bright cherries. Very fruit forward wine, nice mouthfeel, with the roundness of baking spices. While not overly tannic, still quite youthful. Easily mistaken for a Sonoma Coast PN. Secondary characteristics had not really developed, so this still has plenty of time to go.
