Very, very good. On the nose, loamy black cherry and forest floor, cut with citrus. A nice savory/bright combo. Palate explodes with black cherry counterbalanced with a beam of grapefruit and citrus. Tingly, bracing acidity -- the wine dances across the palate. Hints of clove and baking spice accent a long finish. Evolving well. No need to rush to drink.
Another spectacular bottle. Intoxicating perfume -- macerated cherries, cloves, nutmeg, roses, turned earth, and black tea. On the palate, stewed cherry, black tea, baking spice, clove and a savory note. Long finish. Refreshing acidity. Again and again, WesMar punches above its weight.
