Decanted for 30 minutes ahead. Savory palate of black currant, with licorice and graphite hints. A good contrast in the difference of classic Bordeaux against new world (the much pricier Sena). Paired well with the leg of lamb marinated in mustard and spices.
Half bottle from the wine list at Tewksbury Inn. Somewhat muted nose of florals and stone fruit, but great acidity structure. Good paired against grilled asparagus w/prosciutto, and with roasted scallops. Not as memorable as the 2010, but welcome nonetheless.
