Not as high on this as Theise but can understand the sentiment. A mid weight texturally perfect wine which fleshes out and loses some luster after an hour or so. The slightest bit cloying keeps this from being as kaleidoscopic as, say, those from Donnhoff or Schaefer. Still, distinct and delicious and a steal if you can find it. A case buy.
Perfect mid weight Tuesday night sipper. Lacking complexity or personality, tastes like generic red wine. But supple round generic supple red wine. Might come around in 5-10 years? This is a $20 bottle at best.
