Unbalance, disappointment. Nice ripe red fruit on the nose, Overripe fruit attack on initial taste, followed by almost rotten raspberry finish. Mid-palette has a slight sweet taste and the finish indicates use of 'tintera' grape (red dye) and acid additions. Just an unbalance approach to wine/almost grape juice (indications of Mission and/or Concord). Really turns me off from lower cost red blends from California.

Didn't take notes when i drank the bottle last week, but remember it being very smooth, fruity but with some notes of earth. It was the favorite of the night.

The 2nd best Carmenere i've ever had. If others could come close to this, Carmenere has a chance, but otherwise it's just a green tasting variety. Sorry to say i didn't take notes (again!), but remember this wine as being very drinkable and smoooooth. A crowd favorite of the night
