Had this during Christmas dinner, with a nice pork ragu. Enormous nose, huge aromas of tobacco with underlying mushroom hints. Drank very well after 4 hour decanting. Strong tannin but typical for brunello. Nice long finish. I was very impressed.

Had with a beautiful beef tenderloin. The pairing was perfect. The aroma of the wine was a deep, rich, tobacco, leather, Napa cabernet. Very drinkable now. The best cabernet we've had in some time. Exquisite.

Rich, flavorful. Fruit taste without being overly fruit forward. High alcohol was obvious upon first opening, but mellowed in the glass after half an hour or so.
