Yum. Give this an hour of air and it's good to go. Great mix of dark resin fruit with green dried herbs. Earth, tar, cedar, anise. Big, full finish. Really nice and in mid maturity. No need to rush on this. Well done.
4/1/2010 12:09:00 AM - Hi there - I really enjoy your tasting notes. I see you've tasted both the '95 and '96 Mouton. I opened a bottle of '95 last week and found it pretty tight. There wasn't a lot going on. Have you found the '96 to be a wine readier for drinking? I've only one bottle of the '96 and I'd hate it to go the route of the '95 (which seemed like it needed another 5-10 yrs). Thanks in advance for the input.
