a pretty deep garnet, tending lightly towards bricking. seduces with elegant fennel, floral notes, tending towards the higher-toned spectrum. still some tannic structure, but really just enough to offer a gentle buttressing to the long, pure focus of this wine. not overly complex, nor a great wine, but still lovely, and right around peak to my taste.

lovely deep purple/red. beautiful nose of ripe sour cherry/fresh grape. intensely focused sour streak, but ripe and pure, with good, mouth enveloping persistence. i love this.

not a style i have much experience with, but i found this very fine-- broad, rich, meaty and long with dark blood notes, perhaps some eucalyptus making a showing as well. still virile, but in good place. feel free to drink away if you've got them, though i expect it'll still hold firm for a number of years as well.
