I picked this up during my trip to Santiago. Really nice red fruit nose. Well balanced and not over powering. Oak not very prominent. Plum jam. Very consistent with a few other good Chilean wine I tried. Velvety smooth but finish on the short side for $60.

This wine is complex and full bodies, with a good amount of mineral. Initial after taste of wood mellows out within 30 mins of opening. Wine taste refreshing when chilled down to refrigerator temperature. But it exhibit its best when served just slightly below cellar temperature. The nose opens up from stone fruit to a seductive pineapple and honey suckle. The body gets into a buttery mouthfeel, with petroleum after taste . This is a fun wine to play with

This wine requires a lot of work. High acidity, rough finish. Wine begin to improve with 6 hours of decanting. At $20 it's a good deal as long as you are willing to let it out for a while
