Really impressed again. Great body up front, followed by white and then yellow peach and finishes with a zesty cherry sweet tarts finish. Vibrant acidity and a real easy drinker with no rough spots. Bested a few bottles of '97 Salon and an '02 DP for current consumption. Left the bottle open in the fridge with just enough for one more glass with dinner the following night and it was still spot on.
2/11/2014 6:51:00 PM - Really enjoyed your notes on the Domaine de Chevalier tasting at the Taillevent (sorry to hear about the duck, though I bet the 1916 was good consolation!). How did that get set up? Sounds like it was quite a night.
