Still very enjoyable. Well integrated now and smooth. Some would find and sense the alcohol a bit distracting. Will last but probably not gain much from more time in the cellar.

It is an amazing thing when wines evolve over time. Grapes from 2008, acquired in the old church, converted into an enotheca in Barolo in 2012, kept in the cellar in the south of Sweden until today. One of the coldest days in a decade and the warm, amazing fruits from the slopes in Piedmont made our dinner not only tasteful but also a fantastic journey along the memory lane. A bouquet with a lot of impressions, and mature tastes and colour. Fruit, a lot of it, ripe and rich and mixed with subtle tannins. A softness that makes the wine feel immensely integrated. This wine is at its peak and I hope those lines find the farmer down in the south, thank you for your excellent work! Grazie mille!

Not sure yet what to think about this one. First impression is a lot of citrus fruit, almost too much. Evolves over the evening and becomes more balanced. Hopefully further ageing will mean more integration and balance.
