Had it with confit de canard and owen baked potatoes / carrots / onion.
I used Zalto Burgundy and Grassl 1855 , and the Grassl did perform best.
The wine is drinking nicely , it has a certain juicy and fresh wipe , but at the same time i also think it lacks some core.
On the nose i find berry like blackberry and sweeter notes , on the palate it starts with a fresher note with blackberry and some hints of sweet liquorice , the ending with wet leather hide.
Maybe the wine is too young ? not sure it has been open for 2,5 hours and at this point not really opening up. Its in no way a bad wine , its constructed very well , but for the money i still feel it lacks something.

Well this evening i had the wine with Indian cuisine , and right out of the bottle the nose and palate is all around tomato stems , its really interesting how pronounced it is , so with more time it dilutes and gets over in a more like apple and mint note...to get to a taste that is green tomato stem , apple , warmer notes of some spices.
The nose is the same as the taste.
Had the wine in Zalto Burgundy and Grassl Mineralite as well as Zalto white wine glass......the best glasses are the Zalto Burgundy and Grassl Mineralite.....unfortunately i dont have the equivalent glass from Gassl to the Zalto burgundy glass.

On opening the wine and taking the first sniff there was a very pronounced note of either lacquer or raw meet...it didn't really go away and stayed in that stage forat least 4 hours , the day after it was like the bottle was trying to come around and deliver more without ever giving anything. And went back to the stage with that very stange odor and taste as well.
Maybe someone here with more knowledge can come with a word to the bottle either flawed or being in a really strange stage.
Had the wine in Both Zalto Burgundy as well as Riedel Sommelier Burgundy glasses.
