Decanted 45 minutes before drinking. Beautiful yellow/gold color, subtle tropical tones mixed with the recognizable PYCM lemon zest and subtle reductive notes. The palate was closed at start but with some air it's full and long. The is so much structure, complexity and depth and the length is incredible. Super wine, still on the young side.

This wine needs a bit of time to unravel and it seems to me it is crawling out of a shut period. After an hour in a decanter it is truly fantastic. Extremely elegant. Pale yellow. The nose is clean with mineral, citrus, depth and complexity. On the palate hazelnut, soft butter and white/yellow fruits. Very good length. What a balance, wow. Wish I had more.

Wow, this wine still lives.. Mineral and floral perfume, and mature cassis liquor nose, and still a nice ruby purple color, the 1979 Margaux is outstanding. The wine is fermented elegance, pure refinement, and classy. A hedonistic experience when preserved well.

3/23/2022 6:45:00 AM - Hi,
We have been through your cellar and noticed some fantastic wines. We run a collective subscription, offering rare and difficult to find wines to our exclusive members.
Our members subscribe monthly, Maggie then hand-selects a bottle and places it within your box, with a limited edition, printed piece description of the wine of that month. Then, twice a year you receive 12-24 bottles of wine; like a 2004 Domaine François Raveneau, Chablis, Butteaux, 1er Cru ($466,00) and 2017 Domaine Coche-Dury, Corton Rouge, Hospices de Beaune - Charlotte Dumay, Grand Cru ($488,98), delivered to your door.
We would like to invite you to our collective. If this is something that interests you, or if you have any questions, please let me know and I would be happy to talk.
We look forward to hearing from you.
