3/12/2024 7:54:00 PM - Love your TN, lucky to taste the 1989 in barrel and bottle at Cos in 1990 and 1991. Also tasted the 1989 and 1982 Ausone at Ausone those same years.

5/17/2022 6:04:00 AM - Happy belated or early which ever bday. Love older Cali wines and some of my best experiences were with the ‘81 Dunn Howell Mtn in Magnum. He always makes a wine last a lifetime.

3/27/2020 8:23:00 AM - Thanks anyway, have a great weekend. If you talk to your friend and he has a bottle left you know who´s interested. Cheers

1/17/2020 10:17:00 AM - Ok the reason I have been unsuccessful in the past finding how to post is its not available on mobile/app (that I could find) which is where I use CT the most. A few that would be fun to attend the next trip: Tusk, Keplinger, Memento Mori, Maxem, Vice Versa, Ovid, Promontory, Dana Estates, La Pelle are a handful you might not have done yet. Cheers

11/25/2019 11:09:00 AM - Hello! Just read your recent tasting story from Le Langhe. Thanks for the useful notes. The shop in Barolo you mentioned ("The Other Barolo wine shop") is called "Vini delle Langhe" and it's run by Piero Antonio Daviso. A nice guy to have a chat with for sure.

8/3/2019 10:18:00 AM - Hello there! I’m opening a 67 Bertani this evening and was hoping you could recommend whether to decant and for how long. Thanks!

2/20/2019 11:09:00 AM - Hello, I came across your notes for "La Tablee: Legends Dinner w E. Guigal & after party". I am a personal friend of the retired Guigal importer whose cellar these wines came from. He intended to be at the dinner, but couldn't make it due to a health issue. However, I made a PDF copy of your excellent tasting notes and forwarded to him. He really enjoyed reading them. I personally have enjoyed all of the older Guigal wines with him over the years, but interestingly have not tasted any of the younger wines (both La Doraine & the 05 Ex-Voto) , all of which I have in my cellar, so your notes were helpful to me personally. I also have the 2011 Clos Rougeard Les Poyeux in my cellar and haven't tasted it since I purchased it 2+ years ago, so those notes were helpful to me as well.. All I can say is "Well done" and thank you.

Next time include La Ciau del Tornavento in your dinner/lunches ( we always do lunch for the last 10yrs or so) , For us the best there is in the area and the wine cellar is among the best in the world . AAA place and to us a must.
