Not particularly green for a 2011, and much less than the Cras from same producer. A very nice 2011, with clean, deep fruit and good concentration. I do not buy 2011 anymore, but this I would buy again.
From memory. Very enjoyable. Fresh and with vibrant acidity, but with sufficient fruit to keep the 2013-acidity in check. Not sure if this vintage is the one to keep for decades, but lovely now and I will drink my bottles over the next few years.
Brilliant for what it is - a dry Mosel riesling from the rather austere vintage 2013. Where the competition is struggling with unbalanced acidity, this is perfectly balanced and full of refreshing enjoyment. Even more impressive when one consider that this is not even the Ohligsberg, but the regular Wintricher, which is one step down on the quality ladder. Really, really good and enjoyable now, but I would not keep this for many years, as I fear that the acidity, which is perfectly balanced today, may become too dominant once the fruits starts to recede.
