Had this numerous times after I fell for this wine at Knightsbridge. One of the best values in Rhone, and a winner every time, even off years. This one is particularly good, and saddly, I only bought 2 cases, and seems to be disappearing fast. Great CNP nose, with spices, hint of toffee, on the palate, lots of spice, mouth full. Find it, buy it.

Les Nomades - Chicago IL. For me the wine of the night. The color was perfect for a 40+ year old wine. And the nose flowed from the glass, making everything a little better. But on the palate, the wine is sublime, mellow, rich, deep, light and all things in between. Why we all eventually fall in love with burgundy. Thank you Burgundy Al, you are my hero.

Les Nomades - Chicago IL What you would expect from a 2002 great burgundy. Deep golden color with an outstanding nose. On the palate, great depth and length, touch of citrus, and oak (in the most positive way) with a slight waxy finish, that lasted over 60 sec. Tasting this wine along with the 1992 Musigny Blanc was a great contrast. This night the 2002 the winner. Thank you Kevin and Knightsbridge (why didn't you talk me into buying more?)
