Decanted this monster wine for 8 hrs, but the dominant effect was still tannins and acid covering the tight fruit. 24hrs more time helped immensely, with the complex fruit and exceedingly long finish showing up, giving rise to sense of round smooth fruit and velvet at the end. Don't even think about opening up one of these for another 4-5 years. Should be worth the wait.

Really starting to come into its own. The fruit is starting to bloom and the tannins have finally softened to the point where they are smooth and in proper balance. Great mouthfeel and aroma. This wine should continue to improve over the next several years, but is great right now with a steak or any other savory food. Really great example of opulent Washington state cab.

Medium body with tart cherries and bright fruit with hints of rhubarb and flowers. Good acidity and paired very well with savory food. Nice aromatic nose and very smooth with multiple levels of flavor. Probably near its peak.
