Drank for my own birthday! Although not my 21st - missed that one a while ago. Pours a somewhat hazy off-gold color, little head. Smells great, kind of wheaty and fruity, a little cherry. A hefty sourness, with a tart apple saison backbone, lingering on the tongue. A really great sour beer, definitely delivers on that front.
Extra aging hasn't done anything bad to this one at all. Very tasty. A bit of foam-over upon opening, which was straight from the cellar somewhere in the 40's °F. A very nice nose, somewhat nutty with a bit of straw. A bit crisp and creamy at the same time, very mild on the bitterness, some breadiness. Quite a satisfying brew, probably can't drink more than one of these in an evening, but good for sipping and enjoying with a cheese plate over the course of several hours.
