7/26/2016 3:32:00 AM - Love your note on '10 Meo Camuzet Boudots, it's in English so at least I know what's going on. lol.

6/9/2016 11:36:00 AM - Ciao, No, I did not get a chance to make it to Rizzi. I was sad. That night was a big bbq for 11 people/friends in the countryside, and I was the one supplying the meats, and I was also the chef, so I had too much to prepare and ran short of time (punto carni did not open until 16,30, that didn't help things). Anyway, I will see them on my next trip, in just a few months. For sure. ciao amico mio!

5/20/2016 3:33:00 AM - Ciao! I'm sure you're having a good time visiting these producers.. Elio is great, probably my preferred producer in the Monforte area, certainly the one I'm most devoted to. Gavarini Chiniera and Ginestra casa Maté are always great. If you've time, and you are in Serralunga, try Palladino, especially their Parafada. you won't regret it!

5/19/2016 9:41:00 AM - Ciao bluespolo, Grazie for your advice. I have confirmed that I will visit Jole next Tuesday, al pommerigio. I too was at Vin Italy this year and had only a moment to taste Rizzi wine (Barbera, iirc), and I'm looking forward to learning about their Cru. Today I was at Elio Grasso, and tasted their new releases; wow, is all I can say.
