Nice bottle enjoyed before and during a dinner. Ruby color, quite some rim variation, no sentiment, thin legs. Nose of dark fruits, in particular blackberry. Also nice earthy tones of leather, light smoke, and some sweet vanilla. Medium alcohol. Palate similar to nose but some additional sweetness and hints of chocolate. Nice balance and almost full resolved tannins. Medium complexity and medium length finish - wish there were a bit more. Drinking well now. Perhaps it has some more to give with 2-3 years more cellaring.

Perfect bottle enjoyed a Saturday afternoon. Ruby to purple, limited rim variation, some sentiment, thick legs. Nose of spice, smoke, dark fruit and lavendel. A hint of strawberry, leather, wood and wet leaves. Palate less evolved than nose but similar expression, nice minerals. Tannins starting to resolve but still quite expressed. Good balance with quite some acidity. High on alcohol expressed both on nose and palate. Hidden complexity, likely to evolve more. All in all a wonderful bottle. Its good today but will likely be even better in 3-5 years. Highly recommended!

Bought in HQ wine shop and consumed in hotel near Santa Cruz. Perfect cork. Clear, day bright, yellow to gold color. Thick legs. Nose of green and yellow apples. citrus, stone and a hint of pear, apricot, flowers and spices. Palate more evolved than nose. Medium to high alcohol, relatively sweet and medium to full body. Bust of complexity with mix of ripe green and yellow fruit, almost dried, apricot and some minerals. Some tannins. Nice balance, perhaps lacks a little bit of acidity but not disturbing. Long and nice finish for at least 30 seconds. Very nice Californian Chardonnay. Needs further cellaring. If you cant wait make sure you decant for at least 2-3 hours to experience all it has to offer.
