Big, for the varietal. Almost as much glycerine as Viognier, but with the traditional acid and citrus. Very light in color. Really enjoy this rounder style as opposed to too many harsh, acidic versions.
Completely confused by this wine. Thoroughly enjoyed 2 bottles several years back, however, as this starts to mature I'm not sure of its future. Both cellartracker and professional reviews seem to disagree on pedigree and longevity. Past bottles as well as this latest bottle all reflected a rich, blackberry note with some noticable oak, but a special nose. However, at this point the 15+% abv seems to be taking over and is unfortunately noticable. Maybe slightly off bottle? Could be, but I would suggest a pop and pour, or take a risk and age a few more years.
