not impressed. "bdx-tuscan" spices (nutmeg) on the nose, black fruit, little oak. medium-bodied. initial soft velvety, then after 2 seconds quite firm-tannic mouthfeel, somewhat improved on 2nd day, short bitter(-chocolate) finish.

nose: yes, salami (wouldn't have thought of that), hazelnuts and hay. flavours: pleasant mouthfeel, not too buttery, nice crisp acidity, with a dry, bit adstringent finish. will not buy again at $15.

this is too intensily perfumed for me. upon opening overoaked as well. I agree with the pleasant acidity and mouthfeel described elsewhere, but the perfume aromas are too dominant and too distracting.
