PNP. Pleasant nose of dark fruit. Medium plus viscosity. A little tight at first, but after about 30 minutes really began to open up with dark cherry and raspberry notes and some nice leather / cigar on the finish. Mellow tannins, good acidity, strong balance and still has some complexity. This wine is in a very good place right now.
Popped and let stand for about an hour. Herbal nose. Medium plus viscosity. Much different experience with this bottle. Initial palate of bright cherries / raspberries changes to more dark fruit with slight menthol on the finish. Great acidity and balance. Drinking very nicely.
Popped and let stand for 30-60 minutes. Very nice dark berries on nose. Medium viscosity. Initial palate had slight heat but subsided shortly following initial taste. Really nice dark fruit with plum, blackberry and some herbal mint on the finish. Mellow tannins, good acidity and balance. Drinking quite nicely right now, I would recommend consuming over the next year.
