2017 Martin Woods Chardonnay Yamhill Valley Vineyard

Pale lemon in the glass. Developing, med + intensity on the nose, aromas of lemon curd, quince, yellow apple, pear, honey, some light floral element/ chamomile, vanilla custard, toast, hazelnut, wet stones. In the mouth, the wine is dry, med body, med + acid, med alcohol, med + palate intensity, long finish. Overall, very good -> outstanding with some more time (IMO), can drink now or hold for 5+yrs. This reminds me of Cameron's Wadsworth chardonnay, but less costly- the structure/acid is so interwoven with the fruit aspects, deft and seamless.

2018 Coriolis (Antica Terra) Syrah

The wine is heavy- almost syrupy in the mouth without a lot of depth or nuance.
