This wasn't as good as my first bottle. Bright citrus in the foreground that overwhelmed everything else and felt almost synethetic, but that's not exactly the right descriptor (maybe more "varietally incorrect" or overwrought?). A pretty good drink, but not fine. Will try to get to my last 2 bottles sooner than later. Don't think these are destined to go too long.
Past prime, but definitely still kicking. Tannins resolved, with good acid backbone. Typical chinon characteristics, along with a very, very appealing clove element on the nose. Balsamic/VA. Interesting and enjoyable wine experience.
