Decanted one hour. Deep rust color in glass with light bricking. Powerful, expressive nose of red fruits, leather and fines herbes. Red fruits an the palate, with coffee, roasted meats and garrigue. Long finish. Drinking beautifully at 15 years, seamless and lusty.
Decanted five hours. Youthful ruby in glass, with no signs of bricking. Nose of tart cherries, with raisins, pie crust, vanilla and eucalyptus. Red fruits on the palate, with espresso, vanilla and cedar. Reminiscent of aged Bordeaux. Rich, with balance and finesse and a long finish. Started to decline after seven hours out of bottle.
Decanted for an hour and consumed over two. Youthful dark violet in glass. Nose of dark berries, espresso and cedar. Currants and blackberries on the palate, with cocoa, graphite, smoke and vanilla. Lush mouthfeel and long finish. The only thing wrong with this bottle is that it isn't a magnum.
