Very simple and grapey, not vinous. Resembles Beaujolais. I cannot believe it is Crozes Hermitage, it is too boring. Maybe OK as a bistro wine by the glass, or picnic wine, but nothing serious.
The fact that the 2018 is being sold in 2020 should have tipped me off... turn n burn winemaking.

Full of rich flavors- sweet prune, raisin, blackberry, bourbon vanilla, plum... A ruby that has matured with 20+ years of bottle age. I am so happy I tried this!!! I bought it at a store in 1996 from the discount rack- shame on them!

Very subtle aromas. Strawberry, roses, tar... Crisp red fruit flavors. Quite lean on the palate. Browning hue which surprised me for a 7 year-old wine. Tingly acidity persists when trying with food- in a distracting way. For 8 seconds after food and trying the wine, it shows a spectrum of fruit, but then is washed away by the physical sensation of acid. Try dry cheeses, meats, etc.

5/10/2013 10:59:00 PM - Brevived: Sorry old man, I can still taste, you can't. From the wines in your cellar, it is obvious you like sweet-oaky cabs, ports, and the like. Save your money dude, get some sweet Madeira and Bourbon, give up wine. You are wasting your money on wine when you could get the same kick out of booze. If you had a palate still, you'd appreciate my comments instead of attacking my "credibility." LOL Bring it.
