this 2009 is probably at peak of maturity. Nice balance of fruit, tannins and secondary flavors. Light jam berry flavor (blueberry, concord grape cedar, tabacco, and hint of spice. Delicious and light tannis. Long finish.

Seemed a bit too tannic for a Pinot. Notes of cherry and vanilla. Was not a big fan but maybe it was something with this bottle. Or I've come to like the Twomey pinot too much!

Tasted great. Mellow tannic with notes of currant and subtle fruit and spice. Almost thought we were drinking a French Bordeaux. I've heard people report a big finish but that was not the case here. Paired well with steak (of course). Opened for an hour then decanted.
