Heading in 19th year with a full head of steam. Cork was near perfect; dark red in the glass, with a nose of cassis and cedar. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with smooth tannins and taste of ripe red fruit. Excellent.
Floral peach nose. Full-bodied and packed with honey, dried pineapple and apricot flavors, yet not at all cloying. In fact, this had a refreshing finish. Enjoyed with candied kumquat flan at the Comal (Berkeley) Bedrock dinner. This should lay down very nicely.
