Lush, creamy warm climate chardonnay. Full mouth feel, excellent with food (even steak!). A bit pricey though, you could get this tasting note for substantially less.

Deep amber, pronounced nose of cane sugar, melon, caramel, treacle, candied orange peel. Sweet palate, medium acidity, low alcohol, full-body, pronounced fruit intensity, medium finish, aroma notes all present on the palate along with a hint of ginger. Very good balance between the fruit, sweetness and acidity. Very intense fruit with complex primary and tertiary defined flavour characteristics that elevate this above good. Just lacking in fruit length on the finish to make this more than Very Good. Suitable for bottle ageing owing to the concentration of fruit and balancing acidity will develop more tertiary notes with age.

Pale intensity, garnet red, no legs; Clean, medium plus intensity, primary raspberry, secondary vanilla oak hint with chocolate and cloves, tertiary meatiness, earth and mushrooms; Dry, high acidity, medium plus chalky tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavour intensity, primary raspberry, secondary vanilla oak hint with chocolate and cloves, tertiary meatiness, earth and mushrooms and dustiness, medium plus finish; outstanding - balance between acidity, alcohol and tannins, medium flavour intensity, complex primary, secondary and tertiary aromas, medium plus length, varietal typicity for Pinot Noir; Ready to drink but will age, likely to develop more tertiary notes. 92/100
