This strikes me as pretty flabby....overcooked fruit tones with a touch of earth and leather... lacking delineation and a hollow finish....very little acid and tannin to frame this...falls apart on the back end.
Very extracted aromatics of blueberry, mineral, purple florals, dark chocolate, with a touch too much alcohol. Ripe round tannins medium plus alcohol med acid and lots of beautiful minerality and tobacco with plummy licourice fruits and an incredible amount of extraction. I really enjoy the ripeness which seems very aggressive and the minerality which seems to focus through that like a laser.
Plush and intense aromatics of cinnamon, grilled plums, licourice, menthol and a touch of asphalt. In the mouth there is a feel of menthol which may be the alcohol, which is a touch assertive. Alongside this there is also plenty of dark black fruits. Sweeet spices and char...lingering notes of blueberry round out the finish...although this wine is a touch hot it has incredible depth of fruit for its category. An assertive effort that i applaud.
