Had as a second bottle after 2005 Leoville-Poyferre. A well structured wine, and at $25-30, well worth the price point. It did not pretend to stand up to the previous bottle. Nevertheless, on its own merits, is a proud effort

Decanted for an hour before dinner with Rib Roast. Classic bordeaux, its heritage very evident. Fine structure, mouth filling, luxuriant long finish. Masculine, yet elegant, with time left to spare. Dollar spent vs. dollar received, an extraordinary value.
