Night #1 I tasted too cold and without proper breathing and it was a bit overbearing initially. Chalked it up to me and tried again tonight, breathing for an hour then pouring. Definitely the right thing to do. The tannins softened, fruit popped, and other (to me) unidentified sweet flavors too, but not a sweet red by any means. Huge win. I'm still a rookie to wine but this one is now a favorite.
Needs alot of decant, serve chilled. I'm new at this but it was too harsh initially, very tart and a little dry. Capped and put back in fridge overnight, was much better tonight, much softer and more approachable.
