Excellent. Tasted this blind against a Keenan 2008 Cab and preferred the Turnbull. This is not a fruitbomb by any means, but this is a rich/powerful wine with great weight and mid-palate. There are chocolate notes that verge towards fudge brownie rather than a dark bitter cocoa. This is combined with a tannic raspberry that lingers on the finish. Really enjoyed.

Tasted this blind with a 2009 Turnbull Cab. Far favored the Turnbull. The Keenan was certainly good (88) however for my taste it was a bit light in the mid-palate, lacked fruit and depth. There just wasn't enough weight to balance out the alcohol, oak and acid on the back end. In general I am a fan of Keenan.

On day 1 a bit too tight and burgundian for my tastes but on day 2 really opened up. It became a much more approachable wine with cherry cola and some creaminess but still a nice acidic lift that prevented it from being flabby. Very very good.
