Taste: m/m- body; medium acidity; integrated bead gives the palate a roundness. The taste is louder than the smell: brioche, cherry, strawberry, flowers, nilla wafer...absolutely you can taste the Cali Pinot in this sparkler. Long raspberry coulis and macerated strawberry finish.

The drink window says don't open until 2016. That would be a mistake, as it's very approachable and enjoyable now.

Smell: Ripe and loaded with fruit, particularly dark cherry and plum, raspberry and blood orange. Other details include graham cracker, sautéed mushrooms, autumn leaves, spice, mineral and cocoa.
Taste: med+ body, round, silky and plush in feel Medium acidity gives the palate enough lift, m- tannins are polished and integrated, giving only a slight dusty traction. Med/m+ length, along with the wonderful fruit a touch of mint appears.

See: m- ruby with some violet tinges at the core. Faded ruby-garnet rim.
Smell: Delicate in aroma, without a sense of depth. Notes of cherry, wild strawberry, grilled herbs, undergrowth, and a touch of cocoa.
Taste: Elegant and lithe, very feminine in feel. M- body, with m- tannins (polished, glossy), med/m+ acidity (succulent, bright). A note of blood orange creeps onto the palate and lingers onto the open, medium-length finish.
