Beautiful bottle. More earth on the nose, perfect mix of fruit, earth and spice on the palate. Dark fruits. Nose a bit closed at the moment, especially on the finish? I feel like the finish could unfurl a bit and go on for longer. Drank over 5 hours, stayed relatively similar over that time, although the initial fruit pop disappeared and it went a bit dark. This is a big wine that has entered a nice spot, and I wish I had more bottles so I could watch this evolve.

Drank over an hour. Started juicy and light evolved tannin and herbal characteristics as it developed in the bottle. Just delicious juice -- what you want from a Bourgogne Rouge. It's light, ruby, and very transparent. Easy to drink. Bright red fruits that got brighter as the wine opened, mixed with an herbal+fennel characteristic which developed more over time. The wine taste of the same bright fruit, with nice acidity, and an increasing level of tannin as this opens. There's an earthiness that was present throughout that evolved into a savory/salty taste in the mouth as the wine was open for longer -- a taste that makes you want to just drink more.

Delicious cherry fruit on a racy acidity that just wants to be drunk. This is what I love about Alsatian or Mosel Pinot... It's red Riesling in its versatility. Medium body, zippy tannins, a bit spicy.
